Remote Bass Knob Wiring - which side?

I am well aware that RCA's should run down one side, and power on the other.

1st question is: which side for the telephone wire for my remote bass knob?

2nd question is: could cell phone interference be picked up by this cable?

I only get interference in my sub. I am doing tests to see if i get any when it's disconnected.

depending on the RCA's and HU, you can run the RCA's next to the power wire without any problems. the remote bass knob can't pick up any interference. it has no audio signal through it.
