Reliability of a Mazdaspeed

Your fluids dont have an effect on the stock sound system failure, battery or motor mounts.

And i have no idea what happened to your motor, either a factory freak, or burning up the highway in 4th gear redlining.

Lmao never said fluids had anything to do with electronics.
I just happend to have them go bad, and they are know to.
Along with several other things.

I was driving smoothly shifting at around 4k...
I wouldnt even take this car over 6.2k if i was driving "hard"

so for a 18 yr old looking for a "fun" reliable car thats turboed, would it be worth it? and in time i will mod it since im well ummm, OBSESSED with cars, and just assume mod it for the fun of working on it.

If you are looking for a reliable car get a honda. Most mazdas ive owned and expecialy the rotarys get costly to own and maintain.
Just my .02 cents

Hey its a good car for working on it. Its costly but i drove a 99 Cavalier and a 04 Accent so I'm not complaining... s*** I can't believe I drove those crappy cars LOL

If you dont have the money to invest in a MSP i wouldnt beat the hell out of her just drive her. I've owned two and have yet to have any problems. but if you are wanting a fast car something you can beat and be stupid on the streets with, I'd get the following cars: Any honda civic (swap a engine), any Integra (swap a engine), a Nissan sentra (91-94 and swap a engine), a Nissan 200sx (swap a engine). Just my opinions and i have had a 200sx w/ a swapped motor fun car wish it was totaled. Good luck with your decision.

Well, I will be getting new headers, turbo and intake manifold, and upgraded intercooler when I get my msp. Also forged rods and pistons at least. So i don't think I'll too much trouble with the motor.

can you say lemon?

thats what i thought too, but my uncle worked at the dealership i bought it from. Hes a certified master mech. Said it looked and ran amazing and i looked at it too and yep. I ran the carfax clean and have a friend that works at a local mazda dealership run my vin. Nothing major came up and it was taken to the dealership for all mantinance.

But oh well she is built now muhahahhah.
Yes it is a great car if your gonna mod it and have the money to. Just make sure you do all your precautionary mods first.
