Refinishing MP3 Wheels: What Color??

Since I can't seem to sell my MP3 Edition Racing Harts, I am going to fix all the curbing and refinish each wheel in it's entirety. Prime time for a color change from the factory satin silver. Attached is a picture of my car with the Racing Harts on it for reference. I now have blacked headlights (thanks to Rockblocker overlays) but otherwise the car looks the same.

What color should I paint the wheels:
1) Gold (not bling gold but similar to Subaru STI wheels)
2) Graphite (aka charcoal, titanium gray, etc.)
3) Flat Black

So cast a vote and let me know which you think I should choose!

I'm kinda partial to the gold on the laser blue exterior. Either that or black

I'm leaning toward gold but not completely sure.

I'm hesitant about black because I want the wheels to stand out a bit against the tires which is why I'm considering graphite. Graphite is dark (which goes with the rest of the car aside from the blue) but not as dark as the tires. On the other hand, I also like the sleeper/track wheel look of black rims.

Forgot to add the possibility of just using silver. I don't really want to keep them the original color but it is a possibility.

I agree with crazyfists that white wheels would look good also.
I'd go with Rev's gold if you chose gold.

Thanks guys....the gold looks awesome, but be prepared for everyone including MSP owners and car guys to think your car is a Subaru/WRX. Its starting to drive me crazy.

I'd say also go with Rev's colour.

I have existing aftermarket silver 17" rims on my Protege. Is it possible to get them re-finished in like a hyper silver colour? Sorry to thread-jack.

I really like the way the gold looks but thats probably because I love the way it looks on subarus.

Let the scuby's have their own thing I vote for graphite.

Go with the Gold, those wheels came gold on Japan on the Japanese Familia MPS Sedan.

Ok, so it sounds like gold is the way to go but....

Here's a question: what would be best color to paint them if I were to sell them? In other words, which color would be the most attractive on ALL Protege's? What color would make them easy to sell? My first guess would be to paint them a silver that's as close to the original color but I'll let the wisdom of yee board members be my guide.

I'm also seriously considering white now but not sure if it will look good because everything else on the car is either laser blue or black (except red taillights obviously).
