Redline Tuning Hood Struts.... anyone near Dexter, MI?

I just spoke with Brian at Redline Tuning, and they do not currently have a kit for the CX-5. They just released one for the 2014+ Mazda 6, here: http://redlinetuning.com/QL-MAZDA6-2014+-.html

I've had their products on my last 3 cars, and they are top notch! Kits are VERY complete, come with everything you need (minus a drill and rivet gun). In the past, if there's a vehicle they don't have they will usually offer a free kit to anyone willing to let them take some measurements and allow them to test fit a custom kit.

I wonder if this is a good idea for this vehicle, considering that many have had issues with hood vibrations. Then again, the pressure from the struts might stop the hood from vibrating.

I wouldn't be concerned about pressure, but it does add more contact points than just the hinges, which "may" help.
