No wine for me, I hate the stuff usually.
Gimme a good bottle of Scotch. Johnny Walker Green (blend) or Laphroaig
(single).

Boss gave all us peons some chianti for christmas and it was pretty decent. I usually drink beer but wine is good stuff. Favorite is rice wine (friday)

Usually a beer drinker but I have been known to enjoy a glass of Riesling with a fine meal. Perhaps some Jameson on the rocks.

That Yellow Tail Shirazz messed me up after 3 x's 1.5 litre bottles. Worst hangover ever. My own fauklt though for drinking it out of a 16oz Dixie cup.

Louis Jadot Pinot Noir is my all time favorite (actually all their wines are good - red or white).

i like most shiraz, syrah, and pinot noirs... can't really stand whites for some reason.... i spend anywhere from 10-20$ a bottle at the store and usually end up with something decent... stay away from the organic wines... holy s*** worst hangover ever!!!

I'm a fan of Jacob's Creek and Yellowtail brands mostly. Not a huge fan of red wine (that's my wife's department), I'm more into the Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay.

Eugnio de Almeida makes good s***. Really any wine from alentejo region(it's south Portugal) is really good.

edit: also Barca Velha is really good too.

Yellow Tail is good but I also like Rodney Strong Cab for a moderately priced wine. I do have a love for Cakebread too.

I've had good luck with Chateau St. Michele for reds - their merlot and cab are awesome. White, if I'm going to have it, is Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio.

The Australians make some really nice wines. Reds from Rosemount are always nice!

Oh.........a wine only poison thread. Nah, only when my mom & stepdad are in town. I have a different preferred poison. Starts with P, ends with Y.

Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio is great...and if you're looking to save some money, I found Cavit and Voga to be almost as good for 1/2 the price. There's others, but those two are generally really easy to find.
