I've done a fair bit of searching, but a lot of the responses are very old since most people seem to be talking about the 2016 model (which I believe is a bit different?). Now that people have had a little time with their aftermarket head unit, I'm hoping you all might share your thoughts on what I should get (and what I should avoid!). Looking to spend around 200 (used / outlet / refurb?).
MFD support would be great obviously, but I think that it is a sacrifice I'm willing (and probably have to) make. Steering wheel control support is a must, as is the back up camera. (Although I'd actually prefer a backup camera with the beeping like on my friend's bmw x5 - any suggestions?). Biggest thing for me is that I'd like some actual buttons around the screen - not a horde of buttons, but just access to the basic things. The all touchscreen models don't do it for me, too difficult to use while swerving through traffic!
