Recommendations for dashboard cleaner

I am trying to find any input on what to use to clean the dashboard in my 3. It has t hat matte finish to it. I have only ever used armor all on my vehicles but that tends to make it shiny. Is there something that you guys use which cleans and protects like armor all.

I have not really done all that much research on it. I figured I would come to the experts.

Thanks

for that stuff warm water works the best. don't use any time of shiny this or that...and certainly not armor all. that will soak in and could cause it to crack...plus it would not look good. warm water on a wash rag of sorts works wonders, keeps it clean and won't dry it out.

ya wet a cloth or somethin, it scoops up the dirt real good, just leaves watermarks on the shiny plastic surfaces like the headunit.

I had started using just water to wipe the dash down, but I'm a smoker and I was cleaning the interior very often. I then switched to Turtle Wax Ice: Total Interior Care, and it does a much better job cleaning and giving it the deep color it should have, and I noticed I rarely have to clean my dash anymore. Great product.

I've been detailing cars for 5 years now and tried about every OTC and boutique product available. The best I've found is Optimum Power Protection, you can get it on-line from a couple vendors. You can join a forum like truthindetailing and get a code for 10% off.

BTW - that's what I just used on my daughter's new 3, dash was dry as a bone from sitting on the lot.
