Recommendation on NY dealer?

:
SOLD 2002 Protege5; Current 2008 CX-9 Grand Touring
Hi folks.

The following are the dealers nearest to my house in NY. Any of these guys any good? I am at a loss since Country Mazda closed. They were really good and gave loaners. Your thoughts and experiences are appreciated.

I think I have a bad belt/tensioner/pulley, bad blower motor, and possibly abnormal wear/wrinkles on my driver seat. Time to see a dealer, but which one...

MAZDA AUTOS. OF GREAT NECK
GARDEN CITY MAZDA
KOEPPEL MAZDA
CITY WORLD MAZDA
SMITH-CAIRNS MAZDA
WANTAGH MAZDA
MANHATTAN MAZDA
GIUFFRE MAZDA

Thanks,

I liked country too, even though they didn't have what I wanted they were very helpful. I bought my cx9 at wantagh. They were pleasant to deal with, no funny stuff dealers try to do. As far as there service dept. I took my car there for its first service and they were good. Also helpful with an incorrect spare key issue I had. I have heard good things about them from others as well and for me its nice because I live 15 min from them. Good luck

Smith Cairns

I got my CX9 (and previous Subaru Legacy GT Wagon) from Smith Cairns. They have been fairly good and honest. I think I got a good deal on the CX9 but it was driven as much by a $4K incentive from Mazda than by anything the dealer was offering.
Their service center is fine. The people are nice and seem to do a good job. The waiting room isn't the most pleasant place to spend time but it could be worse.

I was actually thinking about using them. The problem is that they are up in Yonkers and just a touch far since I would have to go over a toll bridge and up through the bronx.

Is their Mazda and Subie service handled by the same team?

Front of the house seems to be the same. I don't know if their technicians are brand specific. They have Ford/Lincoln/Mercury and Mazda so I would imagine there's a lot in common there. The Subarus may get separate treatment.

Don't know that they're the best of your options but no horror stories to report either. I don't think they supply loaners (unless there's a repair requiring multiple days) which seems odd given the premium aspirations of Lincoln and Mercury, not to mention Ford and Subaru.

One of the great things about Country Mazda was that they gave you loaners for any visit. I may give them a shot. Thanks.

They might be a bit far for you, but I purchased my '10 GT from Manfredi Mazda in Staten Island. I was really happy with the price, and my salesperson, Barbara was terrific. There was absolutely no pressure and I was still smiling when I walked out the door.
