Whats up guys, My friend overlooked at a site he was at and it said something about recalling the MS3 because of the engine mounts...Can anyone confirm if this is true? As my friend claims, they have recalled about 15 MS3 so far...

There's no recall yet...but other forums saying about 15 MS3 had the same problem with the bolts(engine)

Hmm check my motor mounts. DEFINETLY have some RED lock tight on the bolts lol, Maybe enough for the next 5-6 bolts lol. Its all good here.

no i had to remove the battery and the battery tray. also had to unplug the ecu. takes about 30 min or less. not difficult and WORTH checking. (Drivers side)

Passenger side i just looked around for anything obvious

I had the dealer check my bolt, it was tight and definitely not loose. Sounds like a rare issue.

I might have a similar problem...can you elaborate?
ehh yea what is "trouble with shiftl inkage?" my gear changing got wierd but the parts man said itsnormal for new cars and it wil go away...and it got smoother since

when i first saw this thread i was kinda relieved until i read it. after driving my ms3 for about 250 miles a weird sound is coming right underneath me when i'm in first or at a complete stop in neutral. its kinda a high pitch grinding sound and goes away if i'm shifting out of first or stepping on the brake. i wish i could be more technical about it but going to the dealer in a few days so hopefully (or not, depending on how you look at it) i can recreate it there.

does it sound like a little bird? thats what mine sounds like...its annoying when the radio is off...its jsut the gas pedal tho...leave it in first gear aroound 2k rrpm and periodically gas it...it should reproduce the sound...i do it sometimes in plazas cuz its funny...

There was never a recall. Just warranty work that had to be performed on several cars. Reflex is truly a fool.

Man get your Si coupe looking ass out of this thread...BTW if you say the sedan Si looks like a swampass, then maybe your coupe looks like a MINI SWAMPASS!!!
