rearview mirror not working?

i have an 06 mazdaspeed6 GT. when i bought it, the rearview mirror had no power, and nothing on it was working. ive searched for a blown fuse but the only blown fuse was to the front cig lighter. i unplugged and re-plugged the connection in the back but still nothing. any ideas?

You may have a loose wire, especially if someone installed it instead of it coming stock. There is a how=to I wrote on here to install an auto-dimming mirror, take a look and then look around the fuse box to see if you can find where/how it's wired up. Otherwise, it's got to be a bad fuse, and the fuse might be under the hood. The manual should say which fuse goes to that mirror (8-35 IIRC); I'm not at home right now so I can't check on it.
