Hey folks so I was driving a few days ago and I heard something snapped I was like what could it be this time...Everytime I brake I would hear a very loud clunking noise coming from the rear left side. So I got home and jacked the rear up, took off the left rear tire and inspected the area and found out my Rear Left Trailing Arm snapped at the wheel area...Basically my rear left wheel can move around like...bounce around (not cool)
So I bought a replacement today from CarQuest for $40 (Love them, could get any part by them at end of the day)
I was actually trying to remove the broken trailing arm and I was having a hard time loosening the bolt so I gave up...On the service manual the bolt says 87-126 and the other bolt says 63-104....
Would I need an air tool to remove these 2 bolts or could I do it by hand laying down uncomfortably under the car with 2 jack stands?
Thinking of cost if I need an air tool, $200 for air compressor and impact wrench...or ~$60 for 1hr labor at local gas station to do the swap...or rent the compressor for ~$50 with $100 Deposit.
