Rear Seats Question

Before I commit to getting a P5 I have a question regarding the rear seats:

Do the seat backs fold forward? How flat is it?

This car will become my "dog hauler" so I've gotta have room for him to get in and lay down

Thanks!

Yes, they fold down and it's pretty flat. The only thing that hinders the seats from laying perfectly flat is if the front seats are too far back, the headrests on the back seats "catch" on them....but you can always take off the rear headrests.

Simply put, it's a good dog hauler.

Yes the seats will fold virtually flat. The seat bottom will fold forward then the seat back folds down flat where the bottom used to be. I almost always have to remove the headrest to get it to fold flat.

yeah I typically remove the headrest and the lower seat if I plan on hauling anything. It is a good dog hauler; just put down a layer of rubber padding to protect the interior :)

i took the rear headrests off and left them off... cant see s*** out the back with them on, and no one ever sits in the back seat anyway. good riddance i say!

and yes the seats go pretty flat i can get 3 guitars, an amp cabinet, an amp head, and an effects rack in the back of mine and still have room. \m/

Same here. I only put them back on when I do have rear passengers.

And to further expand on the initial question, the rear seat cushions can actually be removed.

Might want to consider the rubberized mat for protection of the carpeting? Please see the lovely insert of handsome Ken holding up the inexpensive Mazda part!

Those plastic dirt catchers are a great invention, but is there one that fits all the way up (to the back of the front seats with seats folded down)? My dog is bigger than the back area and likes to sprawl out.
