my advice is to "amend" your story, particularly the part where you said you grabbed onto the DUI drivers car, as it may imply that you ended up causing some/all of the incident (i.e. if you didn't "interfere", the rest of it wouldn't have happened).

willkill said:Dimitirios u may feel that i caused the second accident, i dont feel that way. why i spent the last 4yrs working onthis car, all the mods i have done i did almost all the work. when i boostd the car i put my marriage on the line to do it. this car means the world to me, and i was not going to let some asshole hit her and leave like she is just a car. this car is my baby and i would do it again i feel that i made the right move.
i sent a e-mail to suntimes writer ( MARY MITCHELL) about what happen, the reply was she is planning on writing a story anout the CPD and DUI and my story would fit in with what she wants to write about. so hopefuly she can point me in the right area.sanblaster1 said:How about an attorney that is going to look into negligence on behalf of that police department, or during the process after the initial accident, I'm telling you they are at fault just like that jackass that hit you.

its kool i just could not let him go, and your right a lawyer can turn nothing into something. again its koolDimitrios said:Wilson, I never said you did and I hope you don't think that I implied that. All I'm saying is that in your initial post, you stated that you went after the driver, grabbed onto his car, etc.
A lawyer/police/witnesses, etc may have a different perception. Their perception may be that because you "chased after him/them", you may have caused him losing control and hitting the other cars. That said, he should be liable for your rearending as it occured first. Be ready to back up why you did what you did and get an attorney.
I know why you did it [chase after him] - I'd feel the same way.
no at yet she will contact me when she is going to write the story.Dimitrios said:Has the story been published? Online?
