Need to get these... any more detailed pics, does the caliper bracket sit on extended bolts that hold the hub with nuts washers etc ? does the handbrake cable clip straight onto the lever on the SVT caliper ?
Kit is simple and straightforward on installation. Just one or two minor hangups as this was the first m2 the kit has been fitted on as it has been designed originally for the fiesta from my understanding. The hangups include, bolt thread change from coarse to fine for the upper spindle hub to rear arm, parking brake cable swap and a ring ring to center the disk to the hub. Once installed, it looks like it actually belongs on the car since everything is neat and tidy. Minor revisions will be made or included with the kit so as to minimize problems during installation as I was told.
The main issue that I would say with the kit right now is the parking brake cable. Since the cable were swapped in order to make it work, the nut for clicker engagement has been fully bottomed out and it seems like the parking brake is not fully engaging. Mark of Lapp racing has suggested that a conversion cable may be in the works so as to avoid the parking brake cable swap
EF9's relatively local and we've met before, I'm looking forward to checking this out in person some time. It's definitely something I'd like to do to my car, but I'd want a front brake upgrade to go with it.
looks interesting, the rotor is really thin is it just 1 pad/surface per side? Also very interested in hearing about the performance/thoughts on the kit.
The rotor is indeed a single rotor with a pad on either side. As of right now, I can't say if there are any performance changes as the brakes are still bedding in.

The caliper bracket has the area around two holes countersunk a bit and has the right washers that fit into said countersink. Handbrake cable off the m2 doesn't fit as the attachment on the end is different than those needed for the svt rear calipers.

The parking brake issue was resolved with 2 cable ferrules to act as a spacer.
Car feels like it stops better although left foot braking during turns gets the rear to swing around noticeably easier.
Thing is that after doing the conversion, I upgraded tires to federal rsr
Two month update. Rear brakes have worked flawlessly in several mountain runs and 2 auto x events. The only complaint is a slight metallic scratching noise when backing out and turning from the driveway first thing in the morning. Its probably just the pads loosening up after sitting on the rotors overnight. Also I can imagine the brake force distributor doing its thing as the rear wheels are just as caked in brake dust as the fronts. Lil bugger hasn't tried to roll away after remedying the loose brake cable
Miles on this setup is roughly 3000 as of now
Very good news. I would love to go with the Wilwood setup if they ever get it ironed out for the 2, but it's also dang expensive. I'm sure this setup with a good set of pads would be more than adequate.
