i recently took out that kenwood sub inclosure and i had to cut the defrost wires to do remove the brackets. i connected the wires again but my friend took off the (silver) harnest that had the defrost (black) "box" and now my defrost doesnt seem to be working. does it need to be mounted to work properly? Any advice or comments would be nice.
