Question is:

Tried to search but didn't come up w/ a specific awnser. Is it possible to just change the plastic, or skirt on the bottom, by going to a dealer and buying? It seems that only the "moving" skirt all the way on the bottom got damaged, nothing else.

From the looks of things, I'm pretty sure i can just remove the screws on the bottom, take that thing out and replace with a new one. Just wondering if it was possible of if anyone had done it before?

Thx a lot... i thought you could just remove the bottom part out, instead of removing the whole bumper. I guess it shouldn't be too hard to remove it anyway.

Appreciate the help.

Hope this helps, quoted from Jonathaneyarrow on M3F

I actually have to thank Ally for this...I saw she did this on hers, but her bumper looks more like a Speed with the black plastic around the license plate and all. Thanks Ally! I'm surprised I haven't seen more of these. I ordered this part from my local dealer...cost me $33 bucks. It can be gotten from Ron Tonkin as well for around the same price. It's extreeeemely easy to install...took me about 30 minutes and it was time well spent. It has a bunch of clips that hold it on, 4 of which have white plugs that keep the tabs from pulling back through the bumper once installed....2 of them are a little bit of a pain to get out since the foam bumper reinforcement is in the way, but cake besides that. The only tools needed are a philips head screw driver and a flathead screw driver to get the clips and plugs loose. It would be easier to do if you take off the back bumper, but I don't know how much of a pain that is. If you crawl under the car, there are little philips screw plugs along the bottom side of the bumper, take them out. There are also 2 black plugs that hold the bumper cover to the car, take them out too with the flathead. Now start at 1 end and release the tabs from inside the bumper and push the panel outward. When you get to the ones with the white plugs holding them in, pop the plugs up with the flathead and wiggle them out from the top, then push the panel out. When you get to the middle, they're all just simple clips you release with your finger. Then the other end comes out the same as the first. Reinstallation is the opposite, The only thing I did different is the white plugs on the inside, I put two in upside down cuz you'll never get them back in from the top thanks to the foam. And now on to the pics.
