Rear Air Issue

The rear air on our 2010 5 has quit blowing. I removed the center console up to the dash and everything is fine. The rear blower motor runs and blows air when not attached to the main heat and air unit. Is there a door that opens and closes when the rear air is turned off and on? The manual I have does not cover the rear air.

This is a known issue, do a search on " rear ac stopped working" There is an actuator on a little flap that cuts off the air going into the rear fan motor. IIRC either the actuator fails, or the linkage gets sticky from lack of use. Hth

Thanks for the info. I was looking on the wrong side for the actuator. I figured it was on the side the duct hooked to.

As secondtyme mentioned, this is an issue. I kept turning the rear fan on and off repeatedly and the door became unstuck.
