re: New Ride

Still getting the voucher right Mark?

I'll be waiting until we get back from vaca to go to a second dealer in regards to trading the MPV in for a 3. No time right now to make the drive to have it appraised and might just have to take some pics and put it on craigslist.
oh, $4,500!
Oh I thought you had bought it already. When do you find out?
we pick it upmon at 11:30
Boy this day keeps on changing. Picking up the car in a couple hours. Woot!
nice!!

Nice Mark! Here are some quick photos just after pulling into the driveway for the first time. ;) (Note: My rock driveway has humps in it. Makes the suspension look wacky. lol Also...got an "A" on order for the rear emblem. They forgot to put it on.)

It looks like the cat approves so far.

And hahaha at a VW Jett. That thing must be quick!

Thx Mark. Pics do not pick up on the Metallic that well. Much better to see in person. It was a one owner car who took very good care of it.

Yea, that's where I tried to capture it when the sun came out a little. Cool thing, previous owner had a Sirius subscription and it's still on. Dealer does not know how long that will be, but he told me as soon as it runs out I can bring it in and they will program another 3 months for free. Also getting 4 new tires put on the car for $275. To be a VW Certified vehicle the tire depth must be greater than 4/32. The current tires are just above that, but I was not totally comfortable with it so we made a deal. ;) Also being a Certified car means we have a full 2 year warranty coverage.

The rear bumper had some damage to it. Just the usual scuff marks, small larger scrapes, and a couple of small deeper cuts into it. I had them repaint as part of the trade. I made sure the salesman could tell how meticulous I am about my cars. Lol.

Lol.. I went from a VW to a Mazda... I know, kinda tacky, but it was my first car. Served me well (erm, kinda well for the most part) for 8 years. She's 10 now!

I think you should take off the extra T in Jet, and leave it.

Or maybe Mary should call the car Jett since it's a he?

she wants to get a way from the Sienna and into something smaller and less on gas, i thought it was a good idea, even tho she didnt tell me!

we never had a mini van when me and my 2 sisters grew up and i told my wife, she would never drive one (she does not want one anyway)!
