Rattle at start, release of clutch?

Hey, my MSP makes a rattling sound from under the hood when I start the car. It also does it if I have a rough shift (especially into reverse) when I let off the clutch. Also, when I go to start in first gear, unless I let the RPMs drop to near 0 or let off the clutch really slow, it seems to feel like a grind, and recently started to rattle as well. I was thinking maybe motor mounts? But the grinding at first gear seems to me to be clutch. Is it maybe a combo? What do you guys think? Hopefully it's not the LSD...

The rattling on start makes me want to say lifters, but the other stuff could be clutch, I couldn't honestly say, does the clutch ever feel like its slipping?

Thad.

are you refering to it being hard putting into reverse? or after you shift into gear it bumps hard or something?

Well, the clutch may be going, but I'm not experiencing any loss of power once I'm in gear. There's no problems shifting, it's mainly when I'm putting on the gas and releasing the clutch. If I don't put enough gas in reverse, the car bucks and that's when I hear the rattling. In first, the grind almost feels like I'm spinning tires, but I know I'm not, and I've also started to hear the rattle in that case as well.
