Hello

I just want to have an idea about "how friendly/honest" dealers we have around Montreal.

as for me..

President Mazda:
the sale guy was a liar all the way. didnt want to drop a penny for rebate for my P5.
the technician adviser: another liar all the way
me: why is there's a big difference in price for installing a block heater?
tech: well, the price they gave you must be for a sedan, on a P5, it's more complicated and it takes more time. That's why.

Delisle Mazda:
it's where I bought my car.
service is so so, sales prep as ok.

Domaine Mazda:
The sale guy was thinking I was wasting his time since I wasnt a serious buyer

Spinelli: Good services. For majors repairs...I think I'll go there..
even if I have to cross the city...

I live in LaSalle and Spinelli Mazda in lachine was the 1st place i went to get an idea of how much it would cost. I walked into Mazda Gabriel and spoke a bit to a sales rep. Seems ok but he was in an hurry and so was i so i didn't stay there long. My parents (they did most of the shopping for me hehe) went to Albi in Mascouche and loved the guy (Martin Ferrari). My dad took a test drive even though everybody knew he wasn't going to buy the car. So apparently the guy was great. I didn't meet him personally but i spoke to him on the phone and after 2 mins of talking, he gave me a better price than everybody else. I then went back to spinelli, talked a bit more with the guy (Yannick Cote) and he agreed to give me the same price Albi gave me, everything was cool. They didn't have the color/options i wanted but got my one within a week and about 2 days later i took delivery. So far, everything has been fine. I had a problem with a tire once and the guy looked at it and found out the valve wasn't tight enough, they didn't charge me. Mathieu Spinelli is very nice and present most of the time.

It was my 1st time shopping for a car and i'd recommend spinelli mazda in lachine without hesitation.

Mazda 2-20 Des Sources

5.5/10

Takes 45 min for the oil change. while 25 min is when the job is done and I just waiting the guy to give me the key back.

They ordered and installed a wrong part on my car, I tell them to take it off, and the part I looking for was actually in stock and I waited 2 weeks for them to order it for me.

What a joke!

The only reason I go there, it's because it's close to me.
I may try Spinelli one day, but it's like 25 min drive from me... :(

oil changes usually take ~25 mins from the moment i drive in the garage till when they give me back my keys. although i had a bad experience last time. they took my car ~20 mins late (6h20 instead of 6h) and the guy finished the job at like 7h15 ... ok, the girl said one of the mecanics had a family emergency, but i dont know if its really true. could be the excuse she gives all the time.

other than that ... spinelli in lachine has been pretty good so far

and Mazda 2-20 's work hours is very inconvient.

Mon-Wed. 7-18
Thurs close at 4pm!
Fri, close at Noon!!!

I went to ALbi once when I forst buy the car and get it inpsected, they still open when I go there at 9pm, I think they close at 11 or midnight! But it's too far from me! West-island to Mascouche!

almost 45min drive...

Gabriel isnt bad either

the manager over there is pretty friendly and you can modificatiosn with him.. i dont remember his name

I e-mailed Spinelli a few times and got some quotes before I bought my car, but I ended up buying my '02 Protege LX at Gabriel, mostly because it isn't far from my home. I can't complain about the service, they have been pretty good to me. On the evening that I picked up my car, the salesman actually came to my place and drove me to the dealership. I thought that was pretty good. I even got calls after a couple of my scheduled services so far asking whether I was satisfied.

It was my first expericence buying a new car, so I had no idea what to expect. I was kind of expecting the worse, but it wasn't too bad. I closed the deal during my first visit, mostly because I really needed to replace my old car in a hurry.

I really love the car, it's awsome.

Now, I hate Mazda 2-20, last time, I told them to check my stock head unit, they say it;s ok! I was in hurry to pick up the car, then I just left, now, the player shut off by itself just like that....

Damn 2-20 didn't do their job. I would probably complain them after many bad experiences with them!!

I have to say that spinelli has very good service . I'm picking up my spped next week and they wre honest about the price and showed me their profit . Let me say that it was less than $1000.00 . Off the bat when I asked for a price they were under $400.00/m for a 48 month lease with 20 000 km per year no cash down. Im taking replacement value and they even negotiated that price too. I saved over $4000.00 plus taxes . Don't buy from gabriel they rip you off . They will sell you a yellow one for less that the titanium one,and it's the same car ??????
Good luck for buying one.

Personally I find it hard to beat Albi: for the one who asked they're open till 1am, they usually give more than what you ask for (in my case they tested the alignment just to give the guy some work...), the evening mechanic who's assigned to work on the msp owns one, and you can get pretty good prices off the dealer, plus when they'll finish moving they'll be right against the highway (640) behind the airport....

yeah...but albi is far from montreal downtown...no?

if you can get on highway 25 you'll drive right into it; it's the first exit right after the 640 for the service garage (for now) and exit 44 on 640 west for their new garage on 'Albi' street along with Albi Kia and Albi Mits!!

Never go to ALBI....they are scammers their best price for a mazda 3 sport gt was 415 on 48 month lease and it is big pressure sale...The salesman told me that i didn't have the means to by the car and that I was wasting his time...got it for 410 and great service at Repentigny Mazda...
I rate them as so

1-Mazda Repentigny
2- Spinelli Mazda
3- DUval Mazda (boucherville)
4- Mazda Prsident
176- Albi Mazda...

Who has Best Lease deal on Mazda3 (36 month)

Just checking the market to see who was able to get the best leasing deal in the montreal area. How much was knocked off the MSRP? What were monthly payments?

Looking to lease very soon. Any info on what dealers are honest?

Has nothing to do with leasing, but albi gave me a few gran more than any other dealer i went to when i wanted to bring back my P5 and exchange it for an MSP. i'm talking about 4 to 5000$ more than anybody else. I think they're worth the try even though CanMaz3Sport had a bad experience

Mazda Brossard
also owns Mazda St. Constant

Rate: 6.5/10

Sell Experience: I went there in the summer of 2003 to buy my Mazdaspeed Protege. The sales rep (young guy) didn't know jack about the car, unfortunetly. Wouldn't cut a deal on the car, saying it was a limited production car and will only sell for that amount.. no less. On top of that, there was only one Mazdaspeed on the lot and I had put a down payment of 500 dollars to keep the car there. The next day @ work I called to make sure everything was set for when I arrived after work... well they went and sold that car. I was pissed, and they told me not to worry because they're trading some car with another Mazda dealership on the North Shore for a Mazdaspeed. I had to wait an extra week for the delivery of the car, not including some ass hole who personally drove the car from that dealership to the South Shore.. and the guy probably booted the car all the way there too. When the car had finally arrived, I asked for some kind of compensation for the extra weeks wait... like maybe some free oil changes or such. The manager actually got mad at me for asking and said NO WAY. Personally I just wanted to get the deal over with and get that car, so I put up with it and said ok.

Service Experience: Usually when you buy a new car from a dealership, they'll call you around the time your car needs to be serviced. They've never called me once. Even when there was the service bulleting about the ECU Flash available. Actually, when I had gone in myself for the second servicing I had asked about the new ECU Flash... well they never even heard of it. I told them it was widely known and Mazda should have given them a bulletin about it. Without even looking at the screen or any kind of lookup, the guy just stared at me and said they don't know anything about it. This also happened wish the clunk of the back bushings.

Well... I went to Spinelli 2 weeks ago...
the director of service has change..so the service! dammit!
