can someone explain to me why people put Familia and Axela, on their cars. ive see it on everything from newer 3's and 6's and ive seen them o stuff like 626 and i dont know what that means or why they did this.
 
Mazda sells cars all over the world. Most manufacturers use different names on thier cars in markets other than the USA.

because outside the US our cars go by different names. for example, a mazda 3 here is called an Axela in japan. it's a car culture thing. you'll never see a new car on the lot with a foreign nameplate. that would elude to the car being imported, which has some big legal implications on its own.
