The fact that people are getting bent out of shape because Kicker blew his motor is insane... get over yourselves.
 
msp have stock knock sensor that pull timing.

my wrx injectors were nowhere close to beiing maxed out... infact i was was pig rich and had to pull a ton of fuel.

You could have been rich, but had the injectors at 50% then you need smaller injectors. Or you could have been at 110% with means you need to get bigger. It doesnt matter is you were rich or not if either one of these conditions existed. If you losse the adjustablity of the flow either way your ******. Weather your forged or not.

Being forged does NOT mean the car cannot still blow. It just means you have increased the capacity for that engine to accept HP/TQ. But if you detonate, it is still fried.

Actually you're preaching to the choir. How many times does Kicker have to state to he KNEW he was taking a risk with the motor? What do you not understand here?

If testing the limits of stock internals is for n00bs, there are quite a few on this forum. Don't cry and pee your pants because your MSP's motor couldn't handle the same power.

PS- I'll be proud if my motor blows one day, its been through alot.
 
Damn Mike, looks like more people are excited that you blew your motor, than there are that are glad you will be getting a built block. But in the end you win cause your block will be forged and you will make some nice numbers.
 
I would still keep the MSP. I get people driving and staring at the MSP like no other car on the road. Its alot easire to get and evo or g35, than it is an MSP. Both g35 (sexy) and the evo are great cars no questions, but the MSP is rare and alot of fun to drive.
 
Well thank you Mike and Laura for allowing me to waste an hour of my morning. Ohh, and the few others that went way off topic too. As you can see, I have deleted quite a few posts in this thread. Ghost and Laura, you will see that the majority were your relentless agitations towards the thread starter.

If you would take the time to read the whole thread, you would have seen that this guy knew the risks and were willing to take them. Many of us on the forums know this and have done the same. Some with blowing the engine and some that have not.

The whole point of the fact is that Ghost and Laura got outta hand in this thread. You are not members here to preach how what or why you think this that or the other. Your opinions on what this guy did was not asked for nor were they warranted.

upped the boost again on the gt28rs from 11psi to 13psi...

car feels freaking rediculous... i love it =)

2nd gear at 4k it pulls hard, then once it hits 5-5.5 k it get a another surge of power and the jus car torque steers and takes off. scared the s*** out of me at first time it happened. man i love having some topend power for a change.

on a wet road i lose traction in 3rd if i punch it.

anyone wanna guess how much power im puttin down??? edit: i'll be puttin it on a dynojet wednesday.

man i love my car =)

yes i am. i understand the risks and willing to accept the consequences, but i got faith she'll hold up fine.

As you can see, he knew the risks and was willing to accept them. You 2 did not need to come into this thread preaching about how wrong that was, and that he should have done this different and that different.

Now, this thread will still be locked for a few more days until Kicker PM's me that he has some other information that he would like to add to this thread.
