These flaps are sold to mostly street driven vehicles, and serve the purpose of paint protection. That being said, I wouldn't say that the Mazda doesn't have rally roots...

I codrive the MazdaSpeed USA MazdaSpeedy3 Evo2. Yes, it has Michigan 'manufacturer' plates on it. Sorry, its not AWD. Yes, its very competitive in the 2wd classes and MaxAttack! championship and overall vs. the AWD cars on tarmac rallies where traction is not an issue. The rally rules allow 2wd cars to race w/o a turbo restrictor so we can make more power than the AWD Subarus and Mitsubishis.
We'll be at Rally WV this weekend (Aug1-2) if anyone can come out and make it.

I codriven lots of other cars including some Subarus w/ RallyArmor products and will testify its good stuff. May have to get some for the Mazda now that RallyArmor expanded their product line.[/QUOTE]

Glad you received your flaps quickly. As far as your installation concerns, I would like to point out that everyone has access to an on line installation manual that is in full color and has very detailed and clear pictures. It can be found here:

Suggestion; in the material included with the flaps you might want to mention the availability of the online color documentation. I'd assume the paper instructions come from RallyArmour, but it would probably be worth your while to include an additional photocopied sheet with a pointer to the PDF.
As for me, I'm patiently awaiting ~$50 flaps.
I live in Alexandria now. Leaving in the AM for Rally WV. Funnest twisty 4 hour roadtrip you could ever take. Come on out.
