Hey all happy labor day weekend :) Ive had my MS3 GT a week now and on the way to work this morning i finally ran into a semi heavy rain. My excitement to finally see my auto wipers in action quickly turned to disappointment cause they arent working. :( I read the manual and adjusted the sensitivity but they still dont work. Is there something im missing? I havent added an type of rain x or even so much as cleaned my windows yet so that wouldnt be the issue. Any suggestions? Thankyou in advance for the assistance.

How hard was the rain? If it was light and drizzling, the sensor might have not picked it up. I've read that sometimes you have to pull the stalk down to setting 1 (or 2) and then bump it back up to the rain sensing setting for it to work better/properly.

This may sound stupid but do you have it in the auto position and not the off?

My sensor would work half of the time....I cleaned the area in front of the sensor with a clay bar and it now works perfectly.

What does "not working" mean? No wipes at all? Wipes all the time without stopping? Something else?

If you have the wiper stalk in the top position, that means the auto wipers are off. You have to push it down one notch to put it in auto mode.

thankyou for the fast response, it was a pretty heavy constant rain (bands from gustav). They arent working at all. I thought to that i maybe had it in the off position but i checked the manual and its on correctly. I'm gonna try to clean the area. Could it be tested with a garden hose?
