Radio Reception

Getting poor reception on both sedan & hatch. How is it going for other new 2010 owners?

I just got new hatchback last week and my FM reception is ok. But on AM I can't get two out of the three sports talk stations that I usually listen to. Not to thrilled as football season is almost here ! BTW I just have the standard six speaker system because I heard the Bose wasn't all that great either.

The one day I used it, it was fine. I am strictly satellite radio.

Dealer service mgr said some good some not so good. No offer to fix. Wondering if I should even consider asking for a new radio since it appears to be integrated into the dash.

2009 Mazda6 Radio Reception Problems

I have been going rounds with my local Mazda dealer regarding poor AM / FM radio reception problems in my new 2009 Mazda6. The dealer has informed me that this is normal for some of the newer Mazda cars. Very disappointing. I'm hoping Mazda will eventually provide a fix, but then again, I also still hope for world peace.
