In the winter months when the temp drops below 32 degrees I have found that the radio/clock display does not come on. After I drive for about 10 minutes and the car warms up it comes on and I have to reset the clock every time.

I was recently at the dealer and thankfully this was under warranty. When the dealer called Mazda USA they found out this is a known problem.

They will replace the clock display for free under warranty.

If this happens to anyone, just contact your dealer and get it fixed.

Radio/clock dispaly goes off during the cold

I have the same issue but I am sure that the warranty is way out of the date. Do you know what they did or how they fixed it.. Did they replace the display or do you still have the original one in the car?
