radiator problems?

Just wondering if anyone has experience radiator failure on their Mazdaspeed 3 yet?

My car is 2008.5 with 4,400 miles on it. Today coming into work I popped the hood and checked the oil. While doing so, I noticed coolant leaking from somewhere in the front grill area. Looks like the radiator itself, or possibly the end of one of the hoses. You can smell the glycol solution and see some of it sitting in the black plastic tray under the front of the car. I also saw a slight puff of steam, nothing serious. Car did not overheat but now I have to evaluate do I risk driving it into the dealer, or have it towed, even though coolant is not dangerously low. The dealership is about 45 miles of rush hour traffic away from my place of work......

give them a call..n go in some other day...watever drive on it..its a brand new car..anything break they fix..n u gotta b rough with these guys also...they always tryin to mak u pay for s***..lol..so say wat happen..n add..fix it at the end

Check your coolant return line that runs across the top of the radiator housing. It is held in place by 2 clips, over the electric fan. Mine came loose and fell down into the fan, causing the fan to shave the hose until it leaked. Going to guess this will be a common problem.

Check your coolant return line that runs across the top of the radiator housing. It is held in place by 2 clips, over the electric fan. Mine came loose and fell down into the fan, causing the fan to shave the hose until it leaked. Going to guess this will be a common problem.

You're the only one I know of so far, but thanks for the heads up. I'll check mine over in the morning.
