Radiator pipe too close ?? Experts please some in

Here is a picture of my intake.
My intake is pretty close to the radiator pipe. The black pipe shown in the picture. It gets pretty hot after a normal drive and it sometimes touchs the intake. Will that cause a problem ?? Thanks...

well, the only thing i can tell ya, is if you start noticing the hose melt, or wear fast...think about gettin an extension, and relocating your overflow bottle, send that beast into da fender well.hehe;)

Move it quickly.

I learned the hard way on my last car.

On my Honda the intake went from the throttle body to the passenger side of the car. My intake was not completely level and the filter was barely touching the hose. As the engine heated so did the hose causing it to expand. The intake bit into the hose and caused a coolant leak.

Damn, that sucked. 300 milkes on the car and I already needed a new radiator hose. Oh, well. Live and learn I guess.

I agree with Derrick. Get a cold air extension and put it in the fender
