Ractive Axle Exhaust

I also forgot to mention that from reading other's threads, the ractive exhaust has a slight bend (not apex looking) and factory mounts aren't good..

Hey MP5Raycer, do you have any sound clips of your exhaust?? Also, does it bend incorrectly because of the hangers?

Hi,

Here's a pic of the Mazdaspeed rear section on my car.

yeah i got a sound clip i recorded off of my digital cam its sweet it sounds like a v-8 lol and i tried ot post it but I dont know how can one of you all help me on it .. it is a Quick Time Application player that play it on mine .. i can reformatt it for Windows Media Player if needed and also as far as teh hangers .. i think the shop who welded it had to relocat one of them and like a month later it actually broke off a chunk of the canister but he re-welded it and it is fine now ..and it was due to the guy who welded it the first time had put too much pressure on the exhaust to get it aligned proplery so when he was done the hanger had super amount of tension on it and after hitting bumps and the constant hold then cold hot then cold made it break free but every one has given me compliments on it .. i mean its really smooth and quiet untill you get onit and it is still smooth but of course gets much louder deffinatly not like a HONDA sound

I notice a slight little more "umph" to it but nothing enought to be bragging lol .. we still drive a slow ass wagon hehe untill we boost it lol

I have the ractive fireball installed on my P5. I love the sound but have no sound clip. (Ractive part number MTP-359 bolt-on)

Check the catalog at:
http://www.toucanindustries.com/index.php

It was a bit complicated to install but worth the effort.

Had to go to a muffler shop and have them unweld one of the original bolts and install temporary replacements. Went home and installed the fireball with the original "rubber donuts" and new stainless bolts. The muffler was hitting the cross-member and I had to find replacement parts. Found longer donuts at an exhaust distributor. It was great at first but the muffler was moving too much laterally and was sometimes hitting the bumper. Finally I went to another muffler shop and they installed 2 washers to stop the donuts from moving sideways. It is now exactly the way I wanted it to be.

I will try to post pictures and sound clip tomorrow night.

Thanks!

Thanks for taking the time to post up sound clips. Sorry i can't help you, i don't know anything about posting sound files. I really want the ractive muffler does anyone know where i can find one cheap!?!?!

HOok me up!

Hey Ghostlinker..what ever happened to those pics and sound cliops? I'm real interested to see what this thing sounds like

Just too busy man !

I don't have a digital cam. My sister has one :)

I will go to get it tomorrow and get pics and sound clips with my laptop.

I'm just tired of working 80 hours a week (pissed)

My wife and kids (2 boys that love the P5) say the same thing:
"What ever happend to daddy ... he is never home !" (scratch)

Thank God I can compensate with the Saturday ski day (rockon)
