Sup fellas!

I'm looking into getting some good race slicks for the track- this could really improve my connection- and ultimately my time slips.

Does anyone know the size I should look for? Brands, Prices?

Thanks!

Give Wheelguru a call at Auto R&D, he'll give you the news on the Hoosiers he's been using for auto crossing. If you're talking about the other racing slicks, then I have no clue as to who you should talk to.

Well I know Sean races autocross- and my slicks would be for drag... I'm pretty sure those would be different tires.

I've seen ads for quite a few different tires, but have no clue on the sizes. hmmmmm. This may be harder than I thought.

heres what rishie told me about draggin.

first off, get some 15" rims, for the front at least, to get rid of that 22 pounds your having to turn. the next step would be getting the slicks i suppose.

so id assume youd run a 215/??/15 in the slicks.

here is basically what you want for wheels:
- lightweight
- small and wide up front ( 14x9 ! )
- small and skinny at the back ( 14x5 ;) )

don't know what slicks you will find for the front but remember there was an article in SportCompactCar where the gutted a Sentra, and uses spare tires on the back to get rid of some weight. haha

bf goodrich makes their comp t/a drag radial and nitto makes a 555r which are both drag tires but not slicks...

If you want maximum traction go with slicks...should be a night a day difference.

What slicks do all the Honda drag cars use?
