disconnect negative battery terminal, stomp brakes for 10 secs, reconnect negative battery terminal
 
take off the battery cables, touch positive to the ground to get rid of the excess power in the car, and reattach it.
 
well yeah, but that goes for every time you disconnect the battery so I figured it went without saying

I dont know about the sound I listened to it a cpl of times I guess it grows on you I would like to hear it at a 3500 RPM drive by if you can have someone recored it for you can you do it ?
 
im interested would it would sound like with a race pipe. the RB CBE is pretty quiet by itself...

did you see a big difference in sound going from the header and CBE to that midpipe? (if you put install them in that order)
 
Not only do I have a header, I have the Corksport header-back exhaust w/o cats. My last scan showed no codes. I will pass emissions. That is all an emissions check is. They scan your computer for codes. If all is well, you pass.
 
I bought OBX Headers, PG midpipe w/ cat, and RB CBE just before my R&R from Iraq. I was gonna have my dad take them to get installed so it was all there when I got home but there was a delay on the headers so that didn't happen. Its all on now and I am still in Iraq so I don't know how it sounds but my old man loves it. I cant WAIT to get home and drive it because the last time I did, it was totally stock and to go from stock to all the s*** listed in my sig is gonna be somethin else!

I get a good laugh everytime I picture my dad drivin my blue tricked out P5 around town!

You will notice a differance. Enter a corner hard, hold it mid-throttle through the corner and right before you exit, slam the gas and feel it put you out of the corner. Stock, it would just come out of the corner yawning. Now, it will have a hard on when you wake it up now. You will have fun driving it now.

See that's what my P5 sounded like on video but not in person with OBX and MSP axle-back (pretty much the same as the RB)
In person it's not raspy like that, it's just sweet.
Yes, around 4K rpms on the highway it does get a lil annoying, but all you have to do is drive a lil faster or slower if you wish.
Past 45-5000 rpms it quiets down.
 
OH GOOD GOD! past 5000rpms is like 100mph in 5th gear!

i dunno bout you, but in WI, a speeding ticket is like $250!
in IL, its only $75 (thats why IL drivers are so bad (im from IL too so dont get all up in a hubub))

but yeah, there is a definite range at which the RB exhaust is the loudest!
then just crank the music up!!!
 
Heey just a short question here umm are the smog/emissions tests everywhere or are they in specific states/country ..cuz i never heard of it. If anyone knows if there is any kind of smog test in Quebec;Canada, I would appreciate :P
