i had a blast and i went twice ... my times were in the low 90's none over 100 and my fastest was 92.2....
to get an idea of how good i did .. there were vetts getting 89's but zo6's were getting 79-86 second times... there was an svt focus there and his best was 98.xxx i was pretty happy about that.. i should have the results soon i was in cmt... which is the equvalent to SCCA's STS... i think i may have gotten 3rd or better... i have come to the conclusion that road racing is more fun than autoXing.... if you want to see what the track looks like go to www.waterfordhills.com .. its a pretty nice track...

just wanted to let you guys know....

I would love to do road course racing. Downside is entry fees. AutoX costs me $15. Track time around here is at least $185/day. I'm thinking I'll stick to the cheaper until I hit the lottery big. (Looks like I'll be autocrossing for quite a while.)
Good results! Wish I could be there to play!

I have done road eacing, but I hate doing body work and I am a better driver than racer.
I have done stage rallys. but my eyes are not good enough for the night work anymore.
I have done drag racing, but I like turns too much.
I have been autocrossing for > 35 years, off and on, and I still enjoy it.
I am not a National caliber driver but I am still a good driver and I have fun. I also enjoy teaching others to drive and to autocross.

i totally agree with you on the entry fees... the one good thing about waterford hills is that two clubs put on a "time Trial" when they usually do autoXing so the entry fee was $25 ..... it was very fun... im actually taking a racing class this august at grattan raceway for only 140 for 4 hours of track time...
