raced an msp in a 99 ext cab silverado nad hung right next to him the whole way

yeah my bad...i mean a new buick regal...not the old turbo ones...whut have you dont to ur spec-v?

Spec V

When it was bone stock, i turned a 15.6@89.xx I launched really well and got 2.2 60' times which is really nice on a FWD car.

Alot of people on the spec forums are doing 15.0-15.3@90 all stock. Now i have a AEM CAI... thats it. one guy did 14.9@92 with only a CAI. Guess i just can't drive.

im sure you can drive just not as well as some ppl..but im sure they have had lots of experience to and im probably just like you...not as experienced...i raced an msp in my mp3 the other day just messing round w/the guy after i talked to him and he had like a turbo timer and something else not sure but he said his msp was runnin rich and that he wasnt going to get on it too much..i had him until about 40 and then here comes the msp passin me getting to 60 and damn did that bov every sound so nice...just was happy that i was ahead of him if he was on it all the way or not...just didnt like the end result..hehe...but anyway...like they always say..practice makes perfect man...im sure you will get it down into that really low 15 second range man...just keep going after it

thanks

I only post on here because of my high respect for the protege/MSP. It was the first car (MSP) i looked at to buy, but i just didnt have the budget. I have always been a Nissan fan, but the sentra's interior was a large turn off. I mean you spend the majority of your time INSIDE the car, shouldnt its interior be rich? As far as performance goes, the sentra and MSP are pretty close in my opinion. I haven't driven the MSP so i may be underestimating it. The sentra handles incredible, and the 6 speed has a gear for every situation. seems like sometimes you want to be in 2nd, but are going to fast.. but to slow for 3rd. The sentra dont have that problem. Also the HLSD works VERY nice pulling thru corners. The steering wheel is very nice, the seats are very comfortable... although they remind of a mesh football jersey. Overall looks i give to the MSP, for having Fantastic rims, good spoiler and look. I like the front of the sentra slightly better then the MSP.

The interior of the nissan turns me off, but the MSP doesnt seem to have much potential. Ive heard that you starting adding more then like 30hp it makes it unreliable.

I have a '92 Syclone if anyone wants to try their MSP against my pu..All your going to be seeing is ass and tailights..Haha..Syclones are notorious supra killers..too much torque for the tires..but it can't go past about 120-130..or you'll lose control

hey buttons,

I was looking at a spec-v b4 but didn't like the interior and the
looks of the car. I liked all the performance, engine specs. But
one thing I didn't like was the torque steer. Just wondering if
you have that as well or was it just the car I was test driving. I
mean when I hit the petal it wanted to turn right, right away.
If I wasn't carefull I could've hit something. So just wondering.
