R.I.P. My Baby.........Good Times

Victor, you were the first person I talked to before I even joined this site. You've been very helpful & I hope you don't leave us now.

I can't even understand how you survived rolling 15 times & 350 feet down a cliff (especially without a scratch like you did), but I'm glad you are ok. You have the right attitude about your car: I missed out on a semester of school & a lot of other stuff because I was in the hospital, but I look at it the same way. Material stuff can always be replaced, but the fact that you are ok is what's really important.

You know, I think you should petition your local government to put a crash barrier there. From the pictures, I can't understand why there wasn't one there already & now it's clear what can happen. If it were me, I would want to make sure that no one else would ever have to go through what you did.

ha! i do have scratches.......from trying to find my GODDAMN wallet today in those bushes!!!

we went looking for my stuff scattered all over the side of the mountain.
the two most important things that we were looking for, my wallet and cell phone, we did not find!

but we found a lot of other crap that i would give up any day for my wallet. s*** like Thomas Guide and a freakin Autolock that was stuck in a tree (well at least it didnt hit my head when it flew out).

******* iodine burns!

Glad that you are ok.
If it was me, I probably wont remember what simile is after flipped 15 times.

SRT-4 time??? Hahaaa~ J/K

Man, at least you're ok. You're taking it better than I would. Can you rob a few parts off the car? :-)

Its time like this when you can really count your blessings.

oh, and by the way, that deer that walked out in front of me is OK, i was able to swerve off the side of the mountain.
Yeah, that's really believable. My guess by the look of you and your friends in the photos is that you are the typical young male that thinks they are a professional driver and can handle a car just as well as a rally driver.

I guess you learned that you were wrong the hard way.

wow! i can't beleave it still.....
good luck victor! ill tell you what......if im going to roll in any car it's going to be a mazda, that car is strong as hell. victor.....man atleast you have the right attitude about it.....i could be alot worse, your walking and a little wiser from this whole ordeal. good luck!

NO! he wasn't speeding he tryed to miss the deer that walked out in front of him...... hit some gravel and washed out over the hill. if you ''READ HIS POST'S'' he was only doing 25-30 mph..... if you dont know him don't make guesses!

You are dumb. Go get in your car right now. Drive down the street at 25mph. Mash your brakes as hard as you can. Get out of the car with a handy dandy tape measurer. Measure the skid marks. They will not be any longer than 10 to 15 feet. Probably not even that much. Don't question me about physics, I will make you look very dumb.

Hope this clears this up for you. These skid marks are more than 50 to 60 feet long. He was going at least 40 to 50mph. I don't care how hard you swerve a MP3 or MSP at "20 to 25mph", you WILL NOT lose control like that. I owned an MP3 and trust me, it would not lose control at that slow of a speed.

Open your eyes moron. think like an investigator for a second. Look at the road, look at the back ground scenery. You can see how curvy the road is and in the background you can even see how the road ahead makes a sharp turn around another corner. He was trying to be a rally car driver. He wasn't as good as he thought. And he and his car paid for it. Hopefully he learned a lesson. And thankfully there wasn't another lane where another driver could have been.
