Sometimes gut reactions take over common sense.
True, but before any gut reaction comes instinct. LIFE OR DEATH? Hmmmm?

I don't care how hard you swerve a MP3 or MSP at "20 to 25mph", you WILL NOT lose control like that. I owned an MP3 and trust me, it would not lose control at that slow of a speed.

Open your eyes moron. think like an investigator for a second. Look at the road, look at the back ground scenery. You can see how curvy the road is and in the background you can even see how the road ahead makes a sharp turn around another corner. He was trying to be a rally car driver. He wasn't as good as he thought. And he and his car paid for it. Hopefully he learned a lesson. And thankfully there wasn't another lane where another driver could have been.

And people are swarming him like vultures for parts and questioning his story. That does not seem right to me. Even if he isnt dead on with his story or if he is way off , who the hell cares? Think about when you were in your last accident.... It all happens so fast. Im sure it is hard to remember details , when all that is going through your mind is "I'm going to die." Who cares how many times it rolled, or what was in the road, Or even how long the skid marks were because of how fast he was going. Point is, his MSP is in the canyon, It is gone, the damage is done. I am so glad that this is just a RIP MSP thread, opposed to a RIP Dr Sound thread.

I won't let even the deepest burning sensation in my gut tell me to swerve around a deer, and launch off the side of a damn mountain. Hit it, and pay for the damage, and hope it dies so it doesnt have to suffer. If it doesnt die, run it over again. I've seen people leave wounded animals in the road. Thats disgusting. Hence the saying "Put it out of it's misery". But you are correct about the gut thing somewhat. An animal pops out, sometimes you just DONT wanna hit it. But I still say he was driving like a tough guy. And rolled it 15 times? That sounds a bit much. 15 times and youd be a vegtable. Unless it rolled all 15 times in the air. lol. ROLLERCOASTER WAAAH-HOOOO!
Oh and aside from all my beliefs on this whole subject. I'm glad your alive and breathing. The miracle that allows a body to function, live and learn, is far more amazing than the engineering that allows an engine to run. Adios

SpicyMSP said:no no no , I am not referring to you specifically . Thats just the overall impression I got, when I read through this thread after not since yesterday. It just seems to me, some people are so insensitive about this. But maybe they dont know Vic as well as I do.
