Quick question: Replacing rear shocks, any parts should be reused

I'm wondering if I should reuse the black shock cover that was on the old shock (seen between the shocks). My new Koni's don't seem to have a lot of protection at the top, just that white plastic piece you see on the picture.

EDIT: Never mind, shocks are installed and all seems well.
