I spent the whole day installing mechanical temp, oil pressure, and volt gauges in my Pro5, but after I put everything back together, the car wont even crank, yet there is power to everything. (scratch) Volt gauge reads just over 12. Its like I'm not pushing in the clutch when starting it up, but I am pushing it to the floor.(boom02) Any help or ideas would be awesome! Thanks guys.

And I have checked every fuse possible. Nothing.

I am new to mazdas, but You could jumper the interlock somehow and see if that is the only issue.

That is the clutch interlock which is usually just a push button type of deal.

Where did you install the oil temp, out of curiosity?

Other than the obvious, without knowing how you did everything, its hard to know if you went wrong anywhere.

I did a water temp, cut the radiator hose from the engine to the heater core and put in a t-joint to hook it up. I did the same with the oil pressure sensor, took it out and put a t-joint and hooked everything up. Could a ground inside the car mess with this? I dont understand how all this could mess with the ignition process.
