So my coolant is halfway between the bottom of the resevoire and the 'low' level, I don't know what is in there right now, it is whatever comes with the car off the lot.
I read good things about 'Water Wetter' I wanted to add it... so what do i need to put in there? Do i need to flush it and add just water and 'Water Wetter' or can i just add water and 'Water Wetter' or what? If i need to flush, how do i do that?

Also, I live in TX..i don't need anti-freeze i dont think. And i have 26k miles.

thanks.

You do Not need to put nothing else but the FL22 coolant from the dealer. It costs 15$. Just fill to the upper level. Do NOT put nothing else.

+1 to this. You can SERIOUSLY **** s*** up (like **** your motor) if you mix anything else.

There was a link in a previous thread about a service bulletin listing which cars use FL22...but the 2007 Speed 3 was not listed, what type of coolant do we use?

The chemical makeup of your 'antifreeze' also increases the boiling point of the system coolant. Water boils at 212F/100C. You will surely see boil-over or steaming if you only went with water (particularly in Texas summers).

Water Wetter uses the same ethylene glycol (only more concentrated) as standard automotive antifreeze. The reason they can advertise that it cools your system so well is because you're directed to add it to a system that is already mixed with coolant. Essentially, you're getting more ethylene glycol in the system; which transfers heat more rapidly.

Even for the summers, stay with the 50/50 mix of water/antifreeze in your coolant. Your radiator will thank you.
