I drive a 2000 protege sedan, and Im planning on lowering it soon. I will be going with the Eibach sportline springs and the Tokico HP's. I have been reading other threads where people have been having problems with the 3rd generations, some kind of clunking or squeeking. And some people have been mentioning endlinks, sway bars, etc. Will I need adjustable endlinks to stop the clunking? And where can I get the adjustable endlinks. Or is there anything else I'm forgetting? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

you don't need adjustable endlinks.. but since you live in Canada... SMOTHER the endlinks in lube for a week (release-all or liquid wrench).. they're more than likely going to cause you more problems than any other part of the install

try some pb blaster on the endlinks. I didn't need it because I have an impact wrench but I had it around just in case.

Hey Fizz! I've lowered my ride with Eibach's. It's been about a year and no clunking. A slight rattle from the rear ( A metal piece rubbing on sway bar ) when I have too much weight in the rear ( back seat ). I think the ride is quite comparible to stock except even better handling. I plan on installing the Eibach Pro-Dampers in the near future. I know how to get rid of the rattle too. Just a short trip back to Extreme Performance for the touch up. Anyway, later and peace.
