i have an 07 Mazda3 Hatch GT with regular halogen bulbs and was wondering if anyone had corrsion problems with their headlights?
my headlight wiring plugs into the rubber dustcover, which has what seems like an extender in the middle which then connnects to the actual headight bulb. i believe the same setup applies for everyone else.
but has anyone has problems with corrosion from the connection of the dustcover-to-bulb?
it looks like its melted part of rubber cover. and all the white gunk wont even cleanout/washoff with alcohol. dont know if thi was a regular problem?
which leads me to my second question. i had some old HID ballasts laying around so i orderred some 35w 6000K bulbs. will these PnP without any problems? ive read some board members havin weird flikering problems or ones that will onl come on sporadically. seen mention of cutting wires, harnesses to the battery, even attaching capacitors??? i dont have a problem doing this just so as long as they work and im still waiting on the bulbs to arrive so i figure id get the answers now and prepare. are there any standing/normal problems with adding HIDs on our cars?
