EXACTLY! Well said! This is why its important to set the tires to the proper pressure and then reset the tpms sensors. They work based on change of pressure rather than knowing the proper pressure.
That's great, i was expecting that i will have to buy 4 new sensors for my winter set-up.
Really good to know.
YES! I think it is brilliant! It saves money at manufacturer, saves maintainence costs for customer, and saves tiny bit of weight...
"Geez" that's a lot of Mazda in your sig. Ever had anything else?

I got my cx-5 recently from China. It's made in Japan and exported to China. The car doesn't have the TPMS feature, does it means that the car doesn't have the sensor in ABS to detect the unnormal pressure?
As I knew, Mazda had closed the factory in Detroit of USA. Does it means that the car selling in US also come from Japan?
How to add this TPMS feature?
Or, I just should buy a 3-party TPMS with sensors in tires?
Thanks in advance.

The importer disabled this feature? or the Manufacturers did this?
As I know, cx-5 imported to Australia also doesn't include this feature. I am concerned about how to add or enable this feature?
