Question on the HyperTech Programmer

Ok so instead of buying a new one and I want to purchase the HyperTech from a private seller how exactly does this work? Is this married to the ECU or can I just hook it right up without no problems? How exactly does it work because I would like to buy one from a private seller but I need to know something about this.

The programmer will work on another vehicle as long as the last vehicle it was used on was returned to stock. Have them email you a screen shot of the Hypertech tuner update software showing the tuner status. It will look something like this...

Do u have dyno as far as a stock 08 ms3? I just purchased a 08 ms3 all stock and thinking about doing this tuning. What kind of performance gains would I expect? I might later on get a short ram or cai and that's it.

The attached dyno chart shows a comparison between a stock vehicle, and just the Hypertech tuning only, no other mods.
