Question on Bov and SRI ????????????

:
2011 mazda speed3
I am a new mazda owner and just added my short ram intake and Blow off valve. I'm smelling alot of gas, I'm guessing I'm running rich. I have a turbo smart bov and a Sure autosports intake. Any suggestions.. My program/tune and fuel pump are next on the list of to-do's but ever since the install of the bov the car seems to be running different.

I'm no expert, and this is only a shot in the dark, could it be your fullpump doesn't have the upgraded internals? I've read that you need to have some supporting mods before you add too much more HP. Doesn't seem like you've done enough that it would matter at this point. So, yeah smelling fuel can't be good.

dont run VTA with out a tune... go 50/50 or recir......

get autotech hpfp internals as your next mod before you go boom! make sure you are shifting around 55-5650rpms no higher, you loose power

I would suggest recir with or without a tune, agree that the fuel pump needs to be adressed as well as utilizing the AP/ATR

Check all your connections on the intake of leaks.

autotech internals are junk, theres a whole thread on their failures on msf.org

and why does everyone just go with the bov, i mean s*** the stock one holds to around 20-21psi...

This.. put it back to recirculation and I bet the smell goes away.

autotechs= best thing I have done to my car. Remove upgrades and wait till you tune!
