The Nology Hotwire kit relocates the coils just like in my pic......and yes, it works fine.Skurge said:i have about 33K on my car as of now
CitezenPro, from what I can see on your pics......it looks like you just removed the two black boxes from ontop of the plugs and relocated them to the front of the engine?
does this work?
The relocation looks great but I think I would be worried about the coils being that close to the headers. Seems like you'd lose some power through heat soak.CitizenPro said:The Nology Hotwire kit relocates the coils just like in my pic......and yes, it works fine.
You literally just pull off the old wires and put the new ones on.. that's all I did. No tools required.FLSilverP5 said:Someone needs to make a how to for us dumbasses. I keep looking at it and everyone is telling me how easy it is (like just slap them on) but i cant figure it out. HELP!
Thats why i wrapped the header.....it took away a good amount of heat from the wires. Im going to wrap them a second time, for extra security pretty soon.Greg S said:The relocation looks great but I think I would be worried about the coils being that close to the headers. Theres actually a bracket that u need to relocate them. The Nology kit comes with it......and if u could post up a pic of the wires that you have, we all could tell you if its going to work.Skurge said:well i'm going to take a crack at relocating the coils tomarrow.........is there anything I should watch for or anything else I need to do this?
