Question for MZ5 drivers w/18" wheels

More specifically, this is to those MZ5 drivers with 18" wheels who drive on less than perfect roads, like we have in New England. If you have stock ride height and 18s, how much was the ride affected? Is it noticeably rougher than with 17s?

I am deciding between using my stock 17s for snows and getting 18s for the summer OR getting 16s for snows and keeping my stock 17s for summer.

I have 18's off a speed3. I don't notice much difference. Roads around here are concrete hell with 17's, too.

I have 18" on my car and seem pretty good to me.

I have 18's w/225/40 series tires (toyos) and the ride is great. Still very plush in my opinion. It did increase road/tire noise inside the car, but it's more tire on the road...an acceptable trade off for less understeer, better turn in, enhanced appearance, etc.

To me, it fells a bit rougher but not a major difference....
