first....it wasn't doing anything (which i mentioned before) but i found the problem (installer error (thumb) ) and now it goes "psssshhhh".

But the turbo still "stacks" .....so what gives? it's not at it's hardest setting, it's actually closer to it's softest (regarding the nut that can be tightened/ loosened on the BOV)

help....i'm confused..again. (poke)

what do you mean by stacks exactly

...um, whatever noise a turbo makes when there is no BOV and your cruising and lift off the gas....

sorry, i refer to it as "stacking"....what is the more common term?

if it flutters when it should blow off, it's compressor surge

no, sorry i think we're confusing each other.... (poke)

assume my car has a turbo and NO blow-off valve...the noise that the turbo makes when you shift at cruising speeds is the noise it's making now with the BOV installed...

^ hope that clarified it a bit.

lol....sh!t i don't know....i'm gonna have to put this on hold....i'll try and post a vid later w/ sound of what i'm talkin' about. (thumb)

well, if it makes that sound like it does when there isn't a BOV, then there might be something wrong with the BOV..

Stacking, more commonly known as "TURKEY". It is in fact a compressor surge, adjust the screw on the valve, until the "flutter" is gone. My MSP still turkeys if I dont give it WOT, and let off it give a nice little psh BLA BLA BLA. BTW what kind of valve is it?

it's the ebay kind (ughdance) ...you can see a picture of it in the "92 miata...turbo" thread (it's pink)

yeah its compressor surge def def definantly compressor surge. Sounds like its to tight.
