35??

I was under the impression the p5 needs at least a 45 or higher offset (48+ preferably)...anyone verify this?

You can get away with +40 or +42 offset on a lowered P5. A lot depends on the tread design & sidewall of the rubbers you buy. If you want to play it safe, go with +45 or +48.

But 35 is definitely WAY too low. Check the fitment guide posted right above me though.

*** THE ABOVE IS ALL ASSUMING THAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT 17" RIMS ***

Ive run 17x7s with +42 and a 205/40/17 lowered with no problems. Get a wider tire or wheel though, you'll need a +45 or +48 offset. you can fit an 18 on there, but look for a 18x7 with +45 or +48 to run your 215/35/18 tires

I've still got some 18's for sale. 18x7.5 +45 rev model II, 215/35/18 falken 512's.
These were on my p5 lowered with tein s-techs.

For any 6" or 6.5" wide rim you can prolly throw on just about any wheel that is designed for FWD cars.

For 7" wide wheels you need to stay within 42-50 offset.

For 7.5" wide wheels the options narrow to 45-48 offset.

I'm not sure whether 8" wheels fit without modification (aka rolling fenders).

sorry.....i want a blk rims for my yellow p5.... (first)

i was actually going to buy 19X7.5 racinghart gt5's, fit with no problem, not sure about the offset tho.. Then realized that if i wanted the car to be faster that 19's would not help

faster? 16"s are fine as long as you go wider than stock. with style? then bump up to some 17"s and you can add a little more width (I don't think anyone makes 16x7.5 but I have seen 17x7.5). Anything over that adds style points but subtracts performance. Personally I think 19"s look dumb on our car...and I think I did see someone with 20"s (doh)

yeah, i think 18's are the biggest you can get without looking kinda silly on the p5. course, that's just me.

LOL. You just need a longer ground effects kit so it doesn't look like WRC or 4wd.

i agree here.......

get at least 7 inch rims 7.5 if possible!

yeah thats is the reason i didnt get the 19's, im interested in improving HP. I was just stating that they fit with no problems, im shooting for 18x7.5 black with a crome lip on a red p5 or something in that nature
