so i have the sticker that goes over your trunk brakelight that says zoom zoom.. but after a year or so of use its developed bubbles and such from rain and whatnot.. thinking about just painting where it says zoom zoom black and taking the sticker off.. not really sure what paint to use for that tho if anyone has any suggestions :)

If you're a hatch, it's a pain in the arse to get the 3rd brakelight lens off, '07 and up anyways...I went with an overlay, changing to red soon but here's smoked

but if you do go the paint route, Vans tint spray or Niteshades, Vans makes different colors.

sedan.. and yeah idk if i want tint spray, i kinda just wana black out the letters and then take the sticker off.. if that make sense lol

thanks tho!

you should just buy a new 3rd brake light smoked thats led, then u wouldnt have to worry about painted ur brake light or smoking it

Exposure to the elements would not cause bubbles under vinyl. Did you use Windex or another cleaner with Ammonia in it? that is usually the culprit.

i would say get a vinyl sticker, thats what i was going to do with mine. If you do make sure itts clean and DRY! haah

So you want "zoom zoom" in black to be on your lens? If that is the case get vinyl shop to make a reverse decal, apply it, paint it, and remove the "outline" of the decal. It would be like a stencil. Good idea by the way.
