If I were to fill up a bottle of ice and water and manually spray my fmic, would that do anything performance wise?

yeah that would be fine also try throwing in some methenol as well they can give u a mixture or the recipe online type in water injection works very well my friend and i are going to make a kit but they retail for about 200 bucks if ur lazy and dont want to make one!

Another thing that works is a air can. Turn that thing upside down, and spray. It comes out very cold!

Yup, even just ice water sprayed into the IC before a run will help you get every ounce of value out of an IC.

I've seen Mustang and Camaro guys at the track back home in IL who would come back from their run down the strip and use room temp. water to cool down their manifold enough that they could put ice packs on it until they ran again. One guy even had a Vortech Air to Water chiller for his SC'd Mustang. He would consistently dump bags of ice into it through out the evening.

Re-Route your Winshield Wiper nozzle's hose to the Fron of the FMIC, then pu a little mister on it, and fill up the Washer Fluid tank with Water/Methanol mix... :)

you could do these things...or do what I do, and just suffer through the painful heatsoak...all day, everyday. Grawr. Money is coming in better now...so FMIC will prolly make a difference when I get it in the summer.

When I dyno'd my car I did two runs on stock boost. After a good spray and 13 minutes of "down time" for my car I was 2.7hp higher and 3.8tq better than the first run. I had a bit of ice and a bit of windshield wiper fluid spraying on the I/C. Not a huge gain at all considering my car was also turned off for a few minutes, but not too bad either.
