Question about AC/Heater

Got a quick question. I own a 2006 mazda 3. It seems that even if i turn of the heat/AC, there is still heat or cold air coming out. For example, i turn on the defroster for a few mins and then turn it off. I can still feel a bit of heat coming out.

any solution for this? is this a known issue?

mine does that as well! I have a 2008 mazda3 and I can put the heat on in the morning on my way to class, get back in 3 hours later, start her up, and there will still be heat coming out even with everything off. same with the AC. I'm curious to know what it is too. (dunno)

Most cars do this. I think it has to do with the fact that you are moving and air is coming into the car.

mm I don't think so, well not in this case anyway. I don't have to be moving at all and it does it, and it only started about 3-4 months ago

I've owned a coupe other cars, I dont remember this happening. If it does its not as noticeable as on the mazda.

I worry that this is making for worse gas milage, also its just uncofortable sometimes.
